Bears running back Matt Forte is sixth in the NFL in average yards per rush (5.4). His 205 yards on 25 carries (8.2) in Week 4 vs. Carolina helped. The 205 yards put him in some elite company, tying him for the second-highest total in franchise history with a couple of fellas named Walter Payton and Gale Sayers. Payton's 275 yards against the Vikings in 1977 is the franchise record.

More proof that Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan is doing a good job, via research by ESPN: Despite having the league's 24th-ranked running game, the Lions are completing an NFL-high 80 percent of their play-action passes. After going 4-for-4 on field goal attempts, including a 56-yarder that tied his franchise record, against Atlanta last week, Packers kicker Mason Crosby needs one more to tie Chris Jacke's 1993 team record of 17 in a row. Crosby's streak of 16 is the third-longest active streak in the NFL. Atlanta's Matt Bryant (23) and Detroit's Jason Hanson (21) lead the way. The Vikings' Ryan Longwell missed last week after tying a personal-best 16 in a row.
