Some highlights from today's practice, which lasted about an hour and 25 minutes …

– Center John Sullivan missed another practice because of back spasms. He missed two practices last week and the game on Saturday night.

– Other players not practicing were tight end MyCole Pruitt (ankle), cornerback Josh Robinson (PUP, pectoral), defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (knee), safety Antone Exum (hamstring) and offensive tackle Carter Bykowski, who had surgery to repair a torn pectoral but has not been placed on injured reserve yet.

– It appears rookie second-round draft pick Eric Kendricks will stay with the first-team defense at middle linebacker in the base unit. He was working there in practice. He also was sharing some reps with Chad Greenway as the second linebacker in the nickel defense.

– Rookie Trae Waynes and veteran Captain Munnerlyn got looks with the first nickel. Andrew Sendejo got a limited look at strong safety behind Robert Blanton.
