What are you wearing? Sun hat from H&M, lace knit top from Forever 21, jean shorts from Target, sandals from Marshall's, bag from Lillians boutique.

Describe your style: Realistic, simplistic, practical and specific to the occasion. I often wear comfortable clothing that I can move around in and still look fashionable.

Name the least practical style you saw the fair? High heels (ouch!) and white pants.

Your style tip for fair wear? Dress for practicality and the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes — that match your outfit.

What are you wearing? Denim dress from Primp boutique paired with a fringe belt also from Primp. Ralph Lauren sandals from DSW, satchel bag from Target.

Describe your style: I would describe my style as simple, but I always like to play it up with accessories.

Your style tip for fair wear: Wear something you know you'll be comfortable in. There's nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in an outfit or not feeling confident in what you're wearing.

Favorite fall trends so far? I always like seeing the new fall trends, but I seem to resort back to the basic oversized sweaters and cardigans, scarves and cute pair of boots.

Lanee Bird

Videographer and art director, 23

What are you wearing? Jeffrey Campbell boots, Urban Renewal linen overalls and a crop from Top Shop. My silver jewelry is all handmade or vintage.

Describe your style: Monochromic minimal.

Least practical style you saw the fair? My personal style isn't about practicality, so I'm not a good judge.

Favorite fall trends so far? Harnesses and sportswear.

Colleen Seeley

Apparel designer, 36

What are you wearing? Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, Spell & The Gypsy Collective Desert Rose romper, Minnetonka fringe ankle boot.

Describe your style: A colleague once described my style as "downtown bohemian," and I think that's spot on.

Your style tip for fair wear: Sunscreen and sunglasses.

Favorite fall trends so far? I really love the bohemian looks that designers such as Isabel Marant, Lanvin and Burberry showed on the runways.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
