The Walker's shop has the best art-book department in town, and it's probably the best museum gift shop in the Upper Midwest, so be sure to stop by the next time you're checking out an exhibition or dining at 20.21.

Dinkytown boutique Covered is taking 20 to 50 percent off select fall and winter merchandise. The shop's already-affordable offerings include denim, T-shirts, dresses and fitted jackets by national, lesser-known designers -- and much of it looks more expensive than it is.
