A few thoughts from Vikings' 10-9 loss against the Seattle Seahawks ...
-- Unbelievable turn of event for the Vikings and Blair Walsh. Reliable all game, Walsh missed a potential game-winning 27-yard field with with 22 seconds left. Walsh hooked his kick bad.
-- Teddy Bridgewater gave his team a chance with a perfect pass to Kyle Rudolph for a 24-yard gain that put the Vikings in field goal range.
-- Mike Zimmer described Russell Wilson as "Houdini" this week and one play demonstrated that perfectly. Trailing 9-0, the Seahawks used a broken play to get some life on offense.
The snap whistled past Wilson's left shoulder, causing him to retreat after the ball. Rather than dive on the ball, Wilson scooped it up, scrambled to his right and spotted Tyler Lockett wide open in the middle of the field.
Wilson hit Lockett for a 35-yard gain to the Vikings' 4-yard line. Wilson then completed a 3-yard TD pass to Doug Baldwin to cut deficit to 9-7.
-- Adrian Peterson's fumble problems cost the Vikings again in the postseason, just like in the 2009 NFC Championship game in New Orleans. This time, Peterson fumbled on a reception that led to a Seattle field goal and a 10-9 lead midway through fourth quarter.
