Name: Richie Frahm Claim to Fame, Minnesota: a free-agent signing for your Minnesota Timberwolves prior to the 2005-06 season, Frahm was a long-range specialist who helped lead the Wolves to a win in that season's opener against the Portland Trail Blazers. He went 5-for-6, all threes, in the 90-86 victory. He was waived in March 2006. Claim to Fame, Everywhere Else: a poor man's Adam Morrison/rich man's Casey Calvary/median wealth man's Blake Stepp, Frahm is part of the storied line of pale Gonzaga dudes you see every March in the NCAA Tournament who show up on SportsCenter a few years later and you say, "Oh, hey, THAT guy." He went undrafted, and began the life of a basketball journeyman with the incredibly-named Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters of the Philippine Basketball Association. Besides the Wolves, Frahm had NBA stops with Seattle, Portland, Houston and the Los Angeles Clippers. Where He Is Now: as of last year, he and his wife Jonie were living in Japan, where Frahm was playing for the Aisin Seahorses.
