Streetscapes walking tour: Lost buildings of downtown Minneapolis

What: Star Tribune columnist and Streetscapes contributor James Lileks leads a then-and-now walking tour of some key blocks of downtown Minneapolis. Learn about such lost landmarks as the Metropolitan Building, the old Post Office Building and Charlie's Café Exceptionale.

When: Noon-1 p.m. July 30.

Where: Meet in street-level lobby of the new Star Tribune building, 650 3rd Av. S., Mpls. Each walker will recieve a map before embarking on this hour-long tour.
