Stormy Pattern Resumes in the West

Wet weather will overspread much of the West this weekend as a series ofstorms press eastward through the region. One system will bring drenching rainto the Rocky Mountains before emerging onto the Plains on Sunday.Meanwhile, a second storm will advance towards the Pacific Northwest,sending showers along the coast from Washington to central California. BySunday, this storm will spark some showers and thunderstorms in the northernRockies, while more rain soaks areas to the west.

Yet another system will approach the region early next week.
