Storms, Flooding in the Four Corners Region

Monsoonal moisture will still be drawn into the Four Corners region today asthe jet stream dips into the Northwest. Locally heavy storms will erupt overportions of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado this afternoon and eveningas a result.Flooding issues will result in a few areas. Some roadways could becomeimpassible and there will also be the risk of mudslides. Avoid driving overflooded roadways, because doing so will put your life at risk.

A vehicle was washed away in flood waters near Ramah, N.M., on Saturdayafternoon. Nearby, giant boulders were blocking roadways.
