A major Pacific storm will bring a wide assortment of weather to CaliforniaFriday night and Saturday.Rain will be heavy at times through Saturday along the coast and into thefoothills, with up to 3 inches of rain. This will lead to flash flooding andmudslides.
The storm will also bring heavy snowfall to the mountains. The combination ofstrong winds and snow will make travel quite difficult in the Sierra Nevadainto Saturday.
