Storm Onslaught for California

A series of major storms will pound California all of next week. The stormswill bring episodes of heavy rain that will lead to flooding and mudslides.Rainfall through parts of central and Southern California will exceed a halffoot by week's end.

Along the coast, the storms will produce high winds and pounding waves that cancause significant damage to oceanside properties.

The Sierra Nevada range will get dumped on big time with 2 to 4 feet of snowexpected. The mountains of Southern California will start getting episodes ofaccumulating snow during the middle of the week.
