A storm will bring rain to California and snow to the intermountain West thisweekend. Rainfall in California will be 0.25 to 1.00 inch in general which isprobably not enough to cause any significant flooding or mudslides.Snow in the High Sierra should run 6-12 inches Saturday and Saturday night, andski resorts in Utah and Colorado can expect similar amounts Sunday and Sundaynight. For a different reason (an arctic cold front), snow will also fly inWyoming, Montana and Idaho this Sunday.
