Two storms will merge into one powerhouse blizzard by Wednesday morning,spreading a large swath of heavy snow and strong winds from the Midwest to theNortheast Tuesday night through Wednesday night.The combination of snow, wind and cold will create very low visibility andextremely difficult travel.

The storms will run right through the heart of the major airports of theMidwest and Northeast into Wednesday, creating an air traveler's nightmare overthe next couple of days.

Major hubs that will have major delays or cancellations include Chicago,Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Baltimore/Washington, Philadelphia, Newark, NewYork and Boston.

Make sure you check ahead with your airline for changes in your flightstatus.

Severe blowing and drifting behind the storm into Thursday will complicatecleanup and result in further delays for air travelers and motorists.
