A fight between two prisoners has led to another lockdown of the B West cellhouse at Stillwater prison.
One staff person was injured in the Monday altercation when he was struck by a third prisoner, said Shari Burt, a spokeswoman for the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
The injured person was taken to an outside facility for medical treatment and later released, she said.
About 90 offenders in B West briefly refused to enter their cells after the fight but didn't threaten officers, Burt said. About 60 staff members responded and the unit was locked down within 15 minutes, she said.
In May, the cellhouse went into a modified lockdown after a disturbance involving as many as 80 inmates. A full lockdown occurred in June after a prisoner attacked another inmate with a homemade knife, inflicting facial injuries.
