Stillwater, Minnetonka win Buck Hill Invitational

• BUCK HILL INVITATIONAL: Stillwater took home the boys' team championship Friday at the Buck Hill Invitational, ousting last year's team champion, Edina, while Minnetonka was victorious on the girls' side for the second consecutive year. The Edina boys finished second in the meet and Minnetonka took third. Orono senior Bradford Morrison won the boys' individual championship with a time of 42.10. Morrison placed 13th in last year's state meet. The Eagan/Eastview girls claimed second place and Minneapolis Southwest took third behind the defending state champion Skippers. Blake's Hailey Bork won the girls' individual title with a time of 44.20. Bork is a senior who finished sixth in last year's state meet.

BOYS' BASKETBALL

• LAKEVILLE NORTH 61, BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 51: Lakeville North's J.P. Macura scored a game-high 20 points and broke the Panthers' school record for career points with 1,154.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

• MOUND-WESTONKA 53, GLENCOE-SILVER LAKE 41: Victoria Anderson and Brooke Burger each reached the 1,000-point milestone for the Whitehawks in a victory over the Panthers.
