Top-seeded Stillwater advanced to the championship game of the Class 4A, Section 4 baseball tournament by beating visiting second-seeded Woodbury 7-3 on Saturday.

Zach Nelson picked off a runner at third to end the game. He pitched out of bases-loaded jams in the sixth and seventh innings to keep the Royals from coming back.

The Ponies got on the board first when Kade Peloquin hit a two-out double to score Ian Hanlon in the fourth inning. Gavin Madison had two hits and two RBI for the Ponies.

Sam Malec hit a leadoff triple in the sixth inning and eventually scored for the Royals. Woodbury got two more runs before leaving the bases loaded. Malec also had five strikeouts in 3⅔ innings. Cole Erickson had two hits and one RBI for the Royals.

Farmington 10, Rochester Mayo 1: Connor Weed had two hits and three runs scored to lead the top-seeded Tigers over the seventh-seeded Spartans in the winners' bracket final at New Prague High School. Frank Vogel had two hits, including a double, two RBI and one run scored, Noah Drusch and Garrett Meihofer had two hits, one RBI and one run scored each and Korey Dahlberg had nine strikeouts in seven innings for the Tigers.

Hopkins 11, St. Louis Park 3: The third-seeded Royals scored six runs in the fourth inning to pull away from the visiting fourth-seeded Orioles in the winners' bracket final of Class 4A, Section 6. Ryan McGhie had two hits, two RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored, Jake Perry had a solo home run, one RBI and three runs scored, Jack Mausser had two hits, one stolen base and two runs scored, Luke Nordean had a solo home run and Brock Zimmer had three RBI for the Royals.

Andover 4, Forest Lake 3: Max Hunter drove in Noah Dagostino in the ninth inning to give the top-seeded Huskies the walk-off victory over the third-seeded Rangers in the winners' bracket final of Class 4A, Section 7 at Castle Field. Hunter finished the game with two hits, one RBI and one run scored, Logan Gravink had three hits and one RBI, Kyle Law had one hit and two runs scored for the Huskies.

Rogers 8, St. Michael-Albertville 2: The third-seeded Royals scored four runs in the first inning and pulled away from the host top-seeded Knights in the winners' bracket final of Class 4A, Section 8. Zac Evenson had one hit, one RBI and two runs scored, Reiken Downs had one hit and two runs scored, Noah Gordon had one hit, two RBI and one run scored and Tyson Vyusaek had two RBI for the Royals. Hunter Palmer and Eric Fouquette had two hits and one run scored each and Kaden Amundson and Evan Saunders had two hits each for the Knights.

Belle Plaine 3, Cannon Falls 0: Jackson Kruger allowed one hit and two walks to lead the top-seeded Tigers past the sixth-seeded Bombers in the winners' bracket final at Gaylord.
