August means four days of "major league" NHRA drag racing starting this Thursday at Brainerd International Raceway (www.brainerdraceway.com). But classic cars, including the 100-year-old models (see Saturday daytime), keep the summer car-show season going strong (spectators FREE at weekend events listed below unless noted).
