The banged-up Vikings appear to have benefited from their bye week.

Top wideout Stefon Diggs returned to practice today after missing the win over the Texans with a groin injury. It was his first practice since Oct. 1. He was listed as a limited participant on the injury report, but his presence is a good sign for his availability for Sunday's game.

Also participating today in the team's first padded practice in a couple of weeks were guard Brandon Fusco (concussion), wide receiver Jarius Wright (ankle), and tight ends Rhett Ellison (knee) and David Morgan (knee).

Laquon Treadwell is dealing with a thumb injury and was limited today.

The only two Vikings who weren't healthy enough to practice today were tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee).

In other news, quarterback Taylor Heinicke practiced today for the first time since undergoing foot surgery in July. The Vikings now have 21 days to activate him from reserve/NFI list, waive him or put him on injured reserve.
