Six players, including starters Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph and Andre Smith, were not practicing during the brief portion of practice open to the media.
Diggs was not on the practice field. Rudolph warmed up and then left the field. Smith was there, but not participating.
Also there but not participating were Sharrif Floyd, David Morgan and Rhett Ellison.
That left only two tight ends — MyCole Pruitt and Brian Leonhardt — practicing. Leonhardt was re-signed to the practice squad this morning.
