'Steerage Song' adds performance

The musical about European immigration to America from 1845 to 1924 has proved popular

"Steerage Song," the new musical by director Peter Rothstein and composer Dan Chouinard, is a hit for Theatre Latte Da.

The company has added a 3 p.m. Saturday matinee performance of the show at the Lab Theater.

The well-received production is about European immigration to America from 1845 to 1924. It has songs from two European dozen countries that are performed in 17 languages.

The cast includes Sasha Andreev, Bradley Greenwald and Jay Hornbacher.
