Officials said Friday they have found safe the 8-year-old boy who had been missing from Cass Lake since late Thursday afternoon.
The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department had requested the public's assistance in locating Alfred Desjarlait III, according to a missing person alert from the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
He left home on foot near NW. 140th Street and Wakonabo Drive in the Prescott area of Cass Lake about 5:30 p.m.
Alfred "has been found safe," read an update from the BCA. "Thank you to everyone who assisted in finding him and for sharing the information."
