Did we have any fun yesterday? You could say that. So - oh, what the heck - here we go again.

After 260 points scored in games Friday that included a shutout, a blowout and one heck of a clutch kick sprinkled in with countless other big plays, we're back for another full day of state semifinal prep football here at the Metrodome. It might be early, but the mood at the Dome is festive already.

Both Ada-Borup and Nicollet are on the field warming up as this is typed. Both school's bands are here, the clinks and clanks and bings and bangs echoing off the Teflon.

Fans were let in just a few minutes ago, and one Ada-Borup knucklehead let out a huge "whooooooo!" as he walked to his seat. Clearly amused with how his voice rang through the Dome, he then shouted "WHAT TIME IS IT?!"

Kudos to the kid in the band who turned around and said, "Seven-Eleven."

Love it.

This 9-man tilt kicks off our day of coverage. That will be followed by the Class 1A semifinal between Blooming Prairie and Minneota. And after what we saw yesterday in Class 4A, you better believe I'll be sticking around for today's match-up between defending champ Mankato West and Totino-Grace.

Three more games will follow, with the Star Tribune keeping you posted throughout the day's action. Look for game updates at halftime the final of each, and make sure to follow our tweets using the hashtag #gamefacemn.
