The Minnesota State Patrol has identified a woman killed in a crash on Hwy. 13 Monday in Burnsville as Shukri Yusuf Mohamed.
A northbound box truck that had stopped at a red light in the right lane at County Road 11 had just started to move after the light turned green when it was hit from behind by Mohamed, said Lt. Gordon Shank of the patrol.
Mohamed, 25, of Burnsville, was driving a Toyota RAV4 and was not wearing a seat belt when the collision occurred about 3:30 p.m. the patrol said.
Neither the truck driver nor his passenger were injured.
