An 81-year-old Buffalo man killed in a crash with a student driver in Wright County on Friday night was identified by authorities Sunday.

Marvin Joseph Sikkila died Friday after his car was struck by an SUV driven by a 15-year-old Delano driver, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Friday on Hwy. 55 near Calder Avenue NE., when the student driver tried to change lanes, the State Patrol said. Her SUV struck Sikkila's car, causing it to go off the road and roll over.
