A survey out Thursday tells us what Minnesotans like most about the State Fair. When it comes to food, 24 percent of the 500 online respondents gave the nod to cheese curds. Corn dogs were a close second at 22 percent, followed by Sweet Martha's cookies at 19 percent. In general, 53 percent said food is the main reason they go to the fair. The top attraction, survey respondents said, is the Miracle of Birth exhibit, the choice of 62 percent. The survey was commissioned by Kemps Dairy. The State Fair runs from Thursday through Sept. 7.
