Kelly Clarkson, Kid Rock coming to State Fair

In a flurry, the State Fair said this morning that all of its headline Grandstand acts have been booked for the 2009 Great Minnesota Get-Together.

Among the most notable acts: Kelly Clarkson, and Kid Rock will pair up with Lynyrd Skynyrd.

On opening night of the fair, Aug. 27, Bonnie Raitt is teaming with Taj Mahal.

From there, the newly announced acts are:

Aug. 28: Jason Aldean

Aug. 29: Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Aug. 30: Kelly Clarkson, with Eric Hutchinson

Sept. 1: Randy Travis, with Joe Nichols

Sept. 2: O.A.R., with Brett Dennen

Sept. 3: Casting Crowns

Sept. 4: "A Prairie Home Companion," with Garrison Keillor

Sept. 5: REO Speedwagon and STYX, with 38 Special.

Previously announced were Jackson Browne (Aug. 31) and Jeff Dunham (Sept. 7).
