State Fair attendance for Monday: 133,781

The State Fair always gets a good crowd, but exactly how many people go each day? Here are this year's attendance figures, along with a few from previous years. The all-time busiest day at the fair was the second Saturday in 2010, when 234,384 people packed the grounds.

Thursday, Aug. 23: 103,738, compared with 101,658 last year and 119,145 in 2010. The 2010 crowd set the record for first-day attendance.

Friday, Aug. 24: 117,040, compared with 123,735 last year and 132,738 in 2010. The 2010 crowd set the record for second-day attendance.

Saturday, Aug. 25: 152,646, compared with 177,166 last year and 175,621 in 2010. The record for third-day attendance was set in 1998, when 202,126 people came to the fair.

Sunday, Aug. 26: 185,485, compared with 171,689 last year and 165,784 in 2010. The record for fourth-day attendance was set in 1994, when 209,969 people came to the fair.

Monday, Aug. 27: 133,781, compared with 124,538 last year and 113,637 in 2010. The record for fifth-day attendance was set in 1994, when 143,998 people came to the fair.
