Contractors have finished removing the scaffolding at the Minnesota State Capitol, revealing the completed marble exterior. By Nov. 12, the newly gilded statuary group — the Quadriga or chariot group of human figures and four horses — is expected to be raised to the roof of the Capitol in St. Paul. The entire restoration of the interior and exterior is due to be finished in 2017.
