A woman was killed Tuesday evening when the vehicle she was riding in crashed on Interstate 35W in Lino Lakes.

Rebecca Keocher, 22, of Hopkins was driving north on I-35W about 6 p.m. when the car went off the left side of the road and she overcorrected, causing the car to spin to the right side of the road, according to the State Patrol. The car's passenger side collided with a portable message board.

Keocher's mother, Peggy Keocher, 48, of Stacy, who was in the passenger seat, died, the State Patrol said.
