November 16, 2001 Minnehaha Falls was one of the best-visited spots in Minneapolis from its earliest days. This is a 1902 view. Visitors watched the falls, had a picnic lunch and spent the day, much as thousands do every week now in the middle of the 20th century. It was a major tourist attraction.
