A woman whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in a wooded area in St. Paul died of natural causes, St. Paul Police confirmed Wednesday.

An acquaintance who had been arrested and released may still face charges for "tampering" with the body, said Sgt. Paul Paulos, a police spokesman. Charges may be presented to the St. Paul City Attorney, Paulos said.

Rahel Nigusse, 39, was found by a passerby about 9 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area along the 1400 block of Minnehaha Avenue E. A 64-year-old man who knew her was arrested early Monday morning, but was released Tuesday.

The man lives on the block where Nigusse's body was found, according to jail records.
