PAPILLION, NEB. – Rob Refsnyder, Trevor Larnach and Brent Rooker each hit a home run and went a combined 6-for-14 with six RBI to lead the St. Paul Saints to 10-4 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Wednesday at Werner Park.

The victory was the first for the Saints as the Twins' top affiliate. The Saints opened their season with an 8-2 loss to the Storm Chasers on Tuesday. Refsnyder, Larnach and Rooker were a combined 0-for-11 on Tuesday.

The Saints, who trailed 2-1 after one inning, scored three times in the second to take the lead for good. Refsnyder's RBI single gave the Saints a 4-2 lead.

The Saints broke the game open with four runs in the fourth. Larnach hit a three-run home run to right and Rooker followed with a solo home run to right-center to push the Saints' lead to 8-2. Refsnyder's solo home run in the sixth made it 10-2.

J.T. Riddle and Tomas Telis each contributed two hits for the Saints, who outhit the Storm Chasers 12-10.

Saints starter Charlie Barnes, the Twins' fourth-round draft pick in 2017, allowed three runs in five innings. He struck out two as he picked up his second career victory at Class AAA. He was 1-2 in four appearances with Rochester in 2019.

Four Saints relievers combined to limit the Storm Chasers to one run and three hits over four innings.

The Saints and Storm Chasers will continue their season-opening six-game series on Thursday. Randy Dobnak is slated to start for the Saints against Omaha's Scott Blewett.
