St. Paul's Sokol Hall, the oldest Czech-Slovak cultural center in the United States, will get $150,000 from the National Park Service for safety upgrades. The money will help pay for a fire-prevention sprinkler system and improved accessibility. More than 100 years old, the CSPS Hall of Sokol in St. Paul's West 7th St. neighborhood features the oldest national hall and theater in Minnesota. The money is part of the Park Service's "Save America's Treasures" program.
