St. Paul police are investigating the death of a man who was assaulted in June and died over the weekend.
Nicholas J. Keilen, 34, was assaulted sometime between 10 p.m. June 5 and 1 a.m. June 6 in the 900 block of Arcade Street, according to a police news release.
Police are investigating exactly what happened during the assault.
Keilen’s family notified police Monday that he had died over the weekend, the news release said.
The cause and manner of death remain under investigation by the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office.
Police said no other information was available.
