St. Paul police are investigating a fatal shooting Monday evening in the 1500 block of Ames Avenue, where they found a man on a front patio. Fire medics pronounced the man dead.
Investigators are working with the Ramsey County medical examiner to identify the victim, said police spokesman Steve Linders.
Police questioned a male resident from a nearby apartment complex. No one else is being sought in the shooting, police said.
