Workers installed solar panels on the St. Paul RiverCentre parking ramp on Monday afternoon. Mayor Chris Coleman joined U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum, City Council Member Dave Thune and Laura McCarten, Xcel Energy regional vice president, to unveil the project, which will power lighting in the ramp and includes charging stations for electric vehicles .

These Chevy Volt cars were parked at the Saint Paul RiverCentre Parking Ramp on Monday afternoon October 17/2011. There are to electric charging station at the plaza level of the ramp.
