A 64-year-old man who was arrested early Monday morning as "a person of interest" in the case of a woman found dead is being released today from the Ramsey County jail. Sgt. Paul Paulos, a St. Paul police spokesman, said the man would be released by noon Wednesday.

Police still are working with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause of death of Rahel Nigusse, 39, whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in a wooded area Saturday behind an apartment building in the 1400 block of Minnehaha Avenue E. in St. Paul.

Police said the man and Nigusse are acquaintences. No other information is avalable at this time.
