St. Paul homicide victim was 47-year-old woman

A woman found dead Tuesday in a St. Paul apartment has been identified by the Ramsey County medical examiner.

The death of Nicole L. Coatie, 47, has been ruled a homicide, St. Paul police said in a tweet Thursday evening. No arrests have been announced.

Police found her body when they were called to the apartment in the 400 block of Front Avenue in the North End neighborhood about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Coatie's death was the city's 10th homicide of the year. At least four have had a domestic component.
