St. Paul and Minneapolis firefighters are gearing up for a food fight.

The Fire Departments will face off through March to see which one can raise the most food and financial donations for the St. Paul Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf and the Minneapolis Sabathani Community Center.

Twin Cities residents can drop off nonperishable food items at their local fire station through April 3.

Cash donations can be made at the organizations' websites.
