A St. Croix Falls man died Friday morning in Chisago County when his northbound car on Hwy. 95 drifted to the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Ford F250 pickup.
The State Patrol identified the driver as Matthew Hudec, 50. The pickup driver also sustained injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
The accident occurred around 6:50 a.m. at Hwy. 95 near Roe Avenue in Franconia Township, southwest of Taylors Falls.
