Race distance: 400 miles, 200 laps

Last year: Jeff Gordon raced to the third of his four 2014 victories.

Last week: Joey Logano won at Watkins Glen to complete a weekend Xfinity-Cup sweep and give Roger Penske his first Cup win at the road course.

Fast facts: Kyle Busch has won four of the past seven races. He is 30th in the standings in 11 races since returning from a broken right leg and left foot. He must be in the top 30 after the regular-season finale at Richmond to qualify for the 16-driver Chase. ... Kurt Busch won the rain-shortened race at the track in June. ... Joe Gibbs Racing swept the top three spots in qualifying Friday at MIS. Matt Kenseth won his first pole at the track.
