At least two people died Saturday in two car accidents, one in Spring Lake Park, the other in McLeod County.

Matthew Amundsen, 22, of St. Anthony had been drinking before the sport-utility vehicle he was driving south on Hwy. 65 in Spring Lake Park went into the median and rolled over early Saturday morning, the State Patrol said. Amundsen was ejected from the vehicle. Two passengers, Ryan Hallada, 18, and Jacob Caldwell, 19, both of St. Anthony, escaped without major injuries.

At least one person died Saturday in a collision between a small sedan and a van at Hwy. 7 and Babcock Avenue outside Lester Prairie. Details from the State Patrol were unavailable.
