Like many of you anglers out there, I have tinkered and organized my tackle about ten times now since the end of last fishing season, so you can imagine I'm chomping at the bit to get out on the water. I've completed my winter project of constructing my fishing room, where I have pegboard filled with baits and tubs filled with plastics.
Last week, I put the final touches on my tackle organization for 2012 and yesterday started putting stuff in the Ranger! Here is a quick look at some tackle organization tips and why putting some thought into your organization now, will pay off during your fishing season!
As you are going through your gear and find some baits that you haven't used in years and want to get rid of them, I urge you to find a young person that is interested in fishing and get those baits to them. Not only will you see that excitement on their face, but you'll know that you are helping grow the sport of fishing.
I look forward to reporting back to you all of my on the water adventures during 2011!
