The City of St. Paul hosted a "Love is the Law" outdoor musical celebration Tuesday evening, May 14, 2013 to commemorate the signing of the historic marriage bill. The party culminated in the appearance by The Suburbs, whose song, "Love is the Law" became the anthem of the same-sex marriage movement in the state. TWIN CITIES GAY MEN'S CHORUS

Friday-Saturday: The always popular Pride Weekend concerts of the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus are likely to be even more upbeat than usual this year. Titled "We are Family: The Anthems of Our Community," they will celebrate the recent gay-marriage law in Minnesota and feature pop favorites from "I Am What I Am" (from "La Cage Aux Folles") to "Defying Gravity" (from "Wicked"), two Judy Garland numbers as well as "Love Is All Around" (the theme from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"), "Dancing Queen," "I Will Survive" and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way."
