'Holographic'

Thursday: Away from the traditional repertoire endlessly re-peddled on symphony and recital platforms, classical music is changing, often in ways that are totally unpredictable. One of the most fruitful areas of evolution is its interface with the seemingly impersonal world of computer technology, which is explored in "Holographic," a new work by French-American composer Daniel Wohl. For the Minnesota premiere, a specially commissioned video installation complements Wohl's intoxicating mash-up of acoustic instruments and electronica, in a concert curated by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra's questing Liquid Music series. (7:30 p.m. Thu., Ordway Concert Hall, St. Paul, $15-$20, 651-291-1144 or thespco.org)

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
