SEE 'EM BEFORE THEY PULL THE PLUG!
Today-Wednesday: It's down to the last weekend for the "Holiday Lights in the Park" display in Phalen Park, so you'd better throw on the parka and jump-start the car. This beautiful display of lights illuminates a route of nearly half a mile, with proceeds going to local charities, including Second Harvest Heartland food shelf and Union Gospel Mission. Sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the City of St. Paul and King of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury, the display has been dubbed "A Million Lights for 37 Nights." You're free to start counting. Fee is per vehicle, based on size and passenger capacity. No bicycles or pedestrians. (5:30-10 p.m. today-Wed. $8-$45, cash only. Lake Phalen, Wheelock Pkwy. and Phalen Dr., St. Paul. 651-266-6400. www.lightsinthepark.org.)
