GLÆDELIG JUL!

The holidays are all about tradition, and you can experience holiday traditions of 19th-century Minnesota at Folkways of the Holidays. Decorations, music, foods, costumed re-enactors and interpreters demonstrate the rich cultural and faith traditions of the Minnesota River Valley, including Norwegian, Swedish, Irish, French Canadian, German Catholic, Jewish and more. Enjoy the candle-lit historic homes and buildings as you tour the town of Eagle Creek. Take a trolley ride, pulled by draft horses, and hear music by some of the area's top folk talent. (11 a.m.-4 p.m. today and next Sun.; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat. $7-$8.50. The Landing, 2187 E. Hwy. 101, Shakopee. 763-559-6700. www.threeriversparkdistrict.org.)
