Sportsmen's Show in St. Paul this week

The annual Minnesota Sportsmen's Boat, Camping and Vacation Show fills the RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul Wednesday through Sunday, Jan. 14-18. Why should this kind of show be listed in a section devoted to autos? Well, one reason we have autos is to carry and pull all of our stuff and this show features all sorts of it, from fishing and hunting gear to trailers, conversion vans and motorized RVs. The show also offers live fishing, daily seminars by hunting and fishing experts, Ron Schara's kids fishing clinic, a wildlife show and representatives from numerous vacation spots. Daily admission is $9 ($2.50 ages 6-12) and you can print $2 off coupons for adults at the show's website (www.stpaulsportshow.com). Show hours are noon-9 Wed.-Fri., 10-9 Sat. and 10-6 Sun. For more information, visit the website or call 763-755-8111.
