A 35-year-old woman was killed when her car veered off a major road in Savage on Wednesday morning and struck six parked minivans at a dealership, authorities said.

Danielle Wesley, of Apple Valley, died in the crash, which occurred about 11:15 a.m. at Rollx Vans, which sells wheelchair-accessible vans, according to the State Patrol.

Authorities have yet to say why the car left the road. However, according to Lt. Eric Roeske: "Witnesses said [the car] was traveling at a very high rate of speed before it left the roadway." The driving surface was dry at the time, the patrol said.

The car was heading east on Hwy. 13 near Dakota Avenue, when it went off the road, crossed over the frontage road and hit the unoccupied minivans, the patrol said.
