Twins outfielder Denard Span had an MRI of his collarbone in San Francisco today and will have one of his shoulder tomorrow.

Not sure why he could not have both done at once. We were told he was only able to make it through one.

Twins assistant General Manager Ron Antony said the exams are to make sure they haven't missed anything with his diagnosis - and to give him peace of mind. Span has missed seven games since injuring himself while trying to make a falling catch.

Twins haven't announced Wednesday's starter, but the odds are in favor of Liam Hendriks.
